Ashton – Mason

Meet Ashton!

She found her passion competing in skills competitions in high school. She’s now a 2x winner of the National SkillsUSA Masonry competition (talk about kicking ass!) This is why she got into masonry & competing:

“I went to a local competition just to watch my sophomore year of high school. I thought it was so neat and said to myself “that could be you”. I then enrolled in the class my junior year and told the instructor I wanted to compete. My first two years were good, but I really struggled when it was time to compete. It wasn’t until I graduated high school that everything clicked and I understood how to compete well. Through competing I’ve met a lot of great people and come across some great opportunities. As the first female to win the National SkillsUSA Masonry competition not only once but twice is amazing. It’s very rewarding to get to inspire other ladies to get into male dominant industries.”
