Building and leaving my stamp on NYC
What types of challenges have you faced as a woman and how have you overcome them?
Being a young foreman, some guys didn’t want to take direction from me. I overcame the situation by gaining the respect and, in turn, they had no problems or issues taking orders from me.
Is there any advice you would give to women entering the field?
Learn your trade, once you have the knowledge, no one can take it away from you!
