Meet Jane!
Jane is born & raised in Nigeria and pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Her dedication to her studies and ability to stand out among the crowd helps her excel in her career. This is why she chose to study engineering:
“Back then in high school we were told to ensure we study a professional course in college. I wanted to study civil because it was unique seeing women in a male dominated field and I always wanted to stand out and be unique. Although it was challenging being in the midst of men and standing my ground to thrive for the best, I found it interesting and visible as a career. The theories aren’t too far from what it’s to be constructed. Being the only child and studying Engineering I was always find solutions to every mechanical and electrical problem before calling on technicians. This became my driving force that is still keeping me in civil engineering.”
