What is your occupation and what made you interested in getting into your field?
Working in a fast pace environment and constant doors opening
What excites you about your job?
I love the change, every project is different and I have a constant ability to grow.
What are some of the challenges you face?
I face challenges every day as a woman in middle management. For the first time in three years, I am not the only female on site. I have to prove my knowledge before trust is gained for the pure fact of my gender.
Is there any advice you would give to women entering the field?
Do it, it’s okay to be good at it, it’s okay to stand up. Be a leader.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I want to see change. I want it to be okay to be a woman in trades. I want to be heard and most importantly I want to equal.
